Welcome to the IJsselhoeve

Boerderij de IJsselhoeve is a small campsite on the dike along the IJssel, between Zalk and Hattem. A quiet patch of countryside, with the river and the meadows all around, and yet within cycling distance of Zwolle and the Hanseatic towns.

On our camping meadow you’ll find 23 spacious pitches for tent, caravan or camper. Prefer to travel light? Our two shepherd’s huts and the tiny house are a lovely alternative. Children have plenty of room to play, with the sheep in the meadow and chickens scratching around the yard.

“Really nice farm campsite where you can buy fresh eggs and vegetables and there's a freezer full of meat from the local farmer. By bike you're in the centre of Zwolle and Hattem in 20 minutes, plus other nice villages nearby. The campsite has plenty of toilets and showers. If you camp in a tent you can use a shared living room with fridge. They've thought of the little ones too with a sandpit and pedal carts. We'll definitely be back.”

“Erg leuke boerderijcamping waar je lekkere verse eitjes en groente kan kopen en er staat een vriezer vol met vlees van de lokale boer. Op de fiets ben je in 20 min in hartje Zwolle en Hattem en andere leuke dorpjes in de buurt. Op de camping zijn er voldoende wc's en douches. Als je met de tent gaat kun je gebruik maken van een gezamenlijke woonkamer met koelkast. Aan de kleintjes is ook gedacht met een zandbak en skelters. Wij komen zeker terug.”

“We waren maar kort op de camping vanwege een onverwachte omstandigheid. De eigenaar was zo vriendelijk om ons te helpen en paste de rekening aan voor ons kortere verblijf. Heel erg bedankt!”
